For the pieces a flat frame can't hold
Made-to-measure custom mirrors and deep shadow boxes for three-dimensional keepsakes, designed and built by hand in Vancouver, WA.
Framed to fit your wall, not a stock size
A framed mirror is furniture as much as it is glass. We cut mirror to your exact dimensions and wrap it in a moulding that ties into your room, a statement over the mantel, a wide piece to open up an entryway, a clean frame above the vanity. You pick the size, the finish, and the profile; we build it to last.
Depth for the things worth keeping
Some keepsakes have height to them, a gown, an instrument, a set of tools, a pair of tiny first shoes. We build deep shadow boxes with the space and the hidden mounts to hold them securely, lit and arranged so the object is the story, protected behind glass for good.
If it holds a memory, it can hang on the wall
- Christening & wedding gowns
- Military medals & insignia
- Instruments & drumsticks
- Tools & pocket knives
- Baby shoes & keepsakes
- Watches & jewelry
- Sports gear & gloves
- Coins, patches & pins
Bring it in and we'll design around it
Dimensional pieces are all about the details, how deep the box needs to be, how the object is supported, how the light falls across it. That's hard to nail over the phone, which is exactly why we work by appointment. Bring the mirror measurements or the object itself, and we'll design the frame around the real thing.
You'll leave knowing the size, the materials, and the price before any work begins, and pick up something built to protect the keepsake and look right where it hangs.
Mirror & object framing questions
Can you make a mirror any size for my space?
Yes. Mirrors are cut and framed to your exact dimensions, over a mantel, in an entryway, above a vanity, in the moulding and finish that match your room. Custom sizing is the whole point.
What kind of objects can go in a shadow box?
Almost anything with depth and meaning: a christening gown, a grandfather's tools, a first pair of baby shoes, medals, an instrument, a watch. If it holds a story and fits a deeper frame, we can mount and display it.
How do you keep objects from shifting inside the frame?
Each item is secured with hidden, archival mounts sized to the object, no visible tape or glue. It stays exactly where it was placed, and the mounting can be reversed without harming the keepsake.
